Tranquility Aerospace is an engineering company specialising in electrical and mechanical engineering design and manufacture, together with project
development for a range of clients in the aerospace and space industry. Tranquility Aerospace creative designers & engineers work seamlessly
together to provide the perfect balance of fit for purpose design and expert engineering.
Our design team continuously challenge our engineers to utilise the latest materials, manufacturing methods and industry best practice to
develop designs that can be efficiently produced at minimum cost, maximum profit!

Design
Our design team of degree-qualified mechanical and electrical engineers use a combination of state of the art CAD systems and traditional engineering methods to meet
our clients’ needs. We build 3D models of all our projects and provide a full service, taking projects from concept through to a complete set of
manufacturing drawings. Output files to suit your needs,
such as in native form, STEP, IGES, eDrawing and DXF formats plus Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) of all 2D outputs.
If required we can manufacture a prototype.

Prototype Build & Test
Using our established partners with prototyping facilities we can utilize rapid and traditional (e.g. metalworking) prototyping techniques to generate
prototypes for fit, form and functional testing to validate the concept.
Such systems typically feature sheet metal parts, parts machined from solid, cooling systems, cable harnesses, labels, plastic parts produced by rapid
prototyping techniques such as Stereo lithography, urethane casting etc. In preference we chose to work with vendors who can prototype from 3D geometry
for expediency.

Manufacture and Assembly
Tranquility Aerospace provide in-house specialist facilities for manufacturing and assembly and are able to complete a variety of contracts, from small hand held equipment, to large electromechanical assemblies. Manufacturing engineers work with the design team to ensure design for manufacture and design for assembly are considered prior to design release.
Tranquility Aerospace is able to work independently on "build to print" contracts, many to the designs of others.
Our Machining team have the capability to manufacture small components in addition to supporting assembly and test operations. In additional to the basic
machine tools, Tranquility Aerospace through its partners is able offer a whole range of machining processes, helping reduce component lead time and material
wastage.
Our fabrication team are highly experienced in working with a range of standard material, as well as exotic metals.
